Ann Ngengere is a Kenyan journalist and is currently the content editor at Viral Facts Africa, a pioneering collaboration between Africa's fact-checkers and public health institutions to tackle health misinformation and provide audiences with engaging fact-based health information.
She worked in Kenyan mainstream media, specifically Citizen Television, and later joined PesaCheck, one of Africa’s largest fact-checking initiatives.
Ann’s views on misinformation have been highlighted on Kenyan media including NTV, Spice FM, TV47, and at events organized by the WHO, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, African Women in Media, the International Women's Media Foundation, and Mozilla Foundation.
