April Warren has over 12 years experience empowering social entrepreneurs with scalable business models to tackle global challenges in healthcare, water and sanitation and agriculture. At Abt Associates, April designs and manages collaborative, market-based partnerships, and previously served as the Fund Manager for a challenge fund that provided financing and technical support to early-stage enterprises in sub-Saharan Africa, and designing and managing market-based partnerships with private sector companies. Previously, April served as an Innovation Advisor with USAID’s Global Development Lab, where she advised cross-sectoral teams on innovative financing and collaborative design to improve development programming. April earned a Master’s of Science from the Harvard School of Public Health and a Bachelor’s from the University of Michigan.
