Dr. Tammy Tabe
Oceania Research Fellow, East-West Center

Dr. Tammy Tabe is Oceania Research Fellow at East-West Center. Prior to this she was a Lecturer at the Pacific Centre for Environment and Sustainable Development at the University of the South Pacific (USP). She is a Solomon Islander of I-Kiribati and Tuvaluan descent. She has worked widely in the Pacific Islands, specifically in Solomon Islands, Fiji, Tuvalu and Kiribati on marine protected areas, community and ecosystem-based adaptation, gender inequality, historical relocation and displacement of Pacific Islands people, identity and diaspora, and climate change induced migration and displacement.
