John Beed is the chief partnership officer for LifeRamp, Inc. an education technology company providing    young professionals and college students across the U.S. and Canada on-demand life coaching to help them lead and succeed in the career of their dreams. A former U.S. Senior Foreign Service officer who led innovative economic development, education, and global health programs across the .Americas, Asia, and Africa, John was the USAID mission director in Guatemala, India, and Paraguay, and the U.S.’ development cooperation counselor in Tokyo, where he mobilized public and private relief aid to support Japan’s recovery from the country’s devastating 2011 triple disaster. He also served on the Faculty of the National Defense University in Washington, D.C. as a leadership instructor and executive coach, working with senior military and civilian officials to develop their strategic leadership skills. He is a former Congressional staff member and graduate of Tulane University and Florida State University. John lives with his wife in Annapolis, Maryland, while their three children pursue academic studies and creative careers.
