John Parker is the Director of Tetra Tech’s Environment and Natural Resources Sector. In this role, he provides technical leadership and overall management of a global portfolio of programs in climate change, sustainable forest management, biodiversity conservation and marine and coastal management. Previous leadership roles include Deputy Director of the USAID-funded Sustainable Water Partnership, Team Leader for USAID/Honduras’ Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment, and Deputy Chief of Party/Program Officer for a transboundary watershed management program in Central America. Mr. Parker began his career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador’s Amazon Basin. Mr. Parker holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) in International Environment and Resource Policy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, a Master of Science (MS) in Agriculture, Food and Environment from the Friedman School of Nutrition at Tufts University, and a B.A. in International Studies from Middlebury College.
