Karanja Gakio

​Karanja Gakio is the CEO of Nairobi-based Cyberplex Africa, whose mission is to provide affordable computers and digital educational resources for families and schools across Africa. He believes every African child should have access to a personal digital device. Prior to Cyberplex, Karanja was head of Goodle's Sub-Saharan Africa Operations during which he led the implementation of several key projects. He has two decades of experience starting and building technology companies across the continent. Educated in Kenya, Singapore and the US, Karanja holds a BS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT and an MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
