Krista Baptista
Global Director, Center for Digital Acceleration, DAI

• Krista Baptista is the Global Director of DAI’s digital business and the Center for Digital Acceleration. She leads DAI’s work in digital development and manages the portfolio of digital projects across verticals and clients, including donors, private sector customers, and foundations. A regular speaker on topics including women in tech, digital for development, the digital principles, and leading tech teams, Krista has served as a mentor and judge for innovation challenges and competitions. She holds a master’s degree in international economics from the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a bachelor’s in geography from Clark University. Krista is an adjunct professor at SAIS where she teaches Digital Development: Innovative Uses of Technology in Emerging Markets.  ​
