Mr. Shaban has 25 years of experience in irrigation and agricultural development, water resources management, water sector strategies, institutional support for irrigation management transfer, Water User Associations (WUAs), irrigation systems design, on farm water management, crop-water requirements, social marketing, and capacity building. He has worked with numerous international funded projects, research institutions, private sector and development agencies in Jordan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. Mr. Shaban is a holder of PhD. in Irrigation Engineering from Utah State University in USA, M.Sc. & B.Sc. in Soil & Irrigation from the University of Jordan. Mr. Shaban currently serving as Irrigation and Agricultural expert in “Adaptation to Climate Change through Water Loss Reduction in the King Abdallah Canal (KAC) – Consulting Services for Preparing a Detailed Feasibility Study and Preliminary Design.”
