​Olivier Girard is the Chief of Party of the USAID Nigeria Lake Chad Basin Program, a three-year, $30-million stabilization effort in northeastern Nigeria implemented by Creative Associates International. Olivier has spent the past 10 years living and working in West Africa. Before joining Creative in 2018, he was Chief of Party on post-conflict and CVE programs in Mali and Chad, as well as worked on the Millennium Challenge Corp.-funded Alatona Irrigation project in Mali. Fluent in English and French, Olivier holds a B.A. in International Development Studies from McGill University and M.Sc. in Economics from HEC Montreal Business School.
