In his current role, Shaun leads a team responsible for local community impact strategy and programming across several businesses and regions. This work brings together experts in local giving, employee engagement, and corporate social responsibility, all with the goal of addressing critical health and social challenges in communities where J&J has a presence, and beyond.

Among his earlier J&J experiences, Shaun spearheaded goal setting for the Company’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals as well as enterprise citizenship and sustainability focus areas; oversaw the Company’s strategic philanthropy portfolio for New Jersey; established the Company’s first digital media and advertising practice more than 20 years ago; and had multiple roles in Public Affairs & Communications, including at Janssen for the launch of six XARELTO® indications, pre-launch activities for INVOKANA®, and issues management for several legacy brands. Additionally, between positions at J&J, Shaun spent five years in brand marketing and disease education roles at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation U.S., focusing on digital and relationship marketing programs for consumers and health care professionals. He has therapeutic area experiences in cardiovascular/metabolic, skin care, women’s health, CNS, vision, oncology, and pain management.
Shaun earned his B.A. in Communication and English from Rutgers College (New Jersey), his Master’s in Communication & Information Studies from the Rutgers School of Communication & Information, and his M.B.A. in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University (NJ).
