Managing Director, BroadReach Health Development
- Todd Malone is Managing Director for BroadReach Health Development, part of the BroadReach Group. Todd joined BroadReach in 2018, serving as Deputy Chief of Party for both the SA Comprehensive and APACE (Accelerating Program Achievements to Control the Epidemic) Programs and later as Chief of Party for APACE. With a strong academic grounding, Todd has fulfilled extensive leadership and managerial roles, including effective engagement with local and international development partners. He has a wealth of experience in managing US government contracts and grants at a program national, regional and global level. For the past twenty years, he has worked and lived in Southern and East Africa implementing donor-funded health and education projects. Todd has served in leadership roles and/or supported PEPFAR-funded projects in South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Nigeria, Swaziland, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Lesotho.
- He holds a Master’s in Public Health through the University of Manchester, United Kingdom and a Master’s in Education from the University of Cape Town. Prior to joining BroadReach, Todd worked with Pact for nine years in key leadership roles including Chief of Party in Swaziland, Chief of Party in Tanzania, and Regional Vice President for Africa, Latin America, and Global Projects overseeing 20+ countries implementing over $100M in annual project activities. Todd brings a diverse set of skills and experience to his role including extensive USAID project implementation experience, strong academic grounding, and effective engagement with local and international development partners.
